I Could and i Would.....just a pity children don't come with batteries as well

no they dont even make it to the front door! but my mother LOVESSS buying noisy toys. she bought a Dora the explorer doll house for my 3yr old! omg a squeeky spanish speaking house!!! i dont have a philips head that tiny to get the battery door open!!!!!!! aauughgh!! but the rule is NO NOISY TOYS!! my kids brought home some annoying toys their father bought them at the mc donalds in the netherlands! OMG they still havent run out of batteries!!!!!! lol SERINITY NOW!! SERINITY NOW!!

Don't have children living with me now but when I did I was known to do that. I'd just say it was broken, we'd have to put it away and I'd try to fix it later. I always put it up because other wise they'd figure out it was just the battery.

Yes, I have done it before!!! But maybe if it's a nice day outside, you could tell your child to take the toy outside and play with it!!

Usually I will let my children play with the toy. But if it just went on and on and on, then I would ask them to take it into another room>

id be evil and turn the batteries around so the child would think the toy is broken....this way u wouldn't b hated by your child :) that's what i do anyway

No,i tell the kid it's gonna explode so you need to play with a different toy,but that's probably worse than shutting it off

Well maybe not yank them, but after distracting the child with ice cream I would hide the damn thing.
