Bruce Springsteen's Secret Garden and Maroon 5's Secret come to mind for secrets (not really for murder though). For murder Bob Dylan's Hurricane song is about being falsely accused of murder...

The lyrics are rather crypric, but "Blue" by Angie Hart comes to mind.
The secret of the lyrics probably has more to do with identity, but there is a line that says, "Wild eyed, I died, and where were you?" so you could figure there was possible murder.
It is also just a very beautiful song!
