Hi, I'm a 13 year old boy who absolutely LOVES Dark Side of the Moon. Who else here has an obsession with the album? An obsession so bad you listen to it every day. And why is it that nobody else at my middle school listens to Pink Floyd?

middle school kids dont listen to pink floyd because they probably havent heard of him. maybe they think its too 'OLD' , but when they do, they WILL like it. belivee me, pink floyd is just too great of a band

Pink Floyd is a very awesome group, in the rock genre, they definitely are my top favorite. Being born in the UK, track 3 called "Time" is my all time favorite, really reminds me of home and the way things were when I was there. I think it's great you like DSOTM at your age. DSOTM I believe was released in 1973-74. I was 4 of 5 then and I really don't remember it's release but I know it went to be one of the all time most selling albums of all times, somewhere in the 32-35 million copies sold area. I don't listen to it every day, but then there are days I listen to some songs many times a day.
As far as your friends at school not listening, or liking it, they have no clue on what they are missing!!! Keep on with your love for DSOTM!!!

I love that album! My friends never heard of Pink Floyd. I first heard it when I was 13 like you. Now I'm 15 and it's one of my favorite albums of all time. I only listen to music from the 80's and 70's. I know why you like this album.

I love Pink Floyd's albums, and I am past my teen years. I am glad people your age have an appreciation for music from the 70's and 80's.

pink floyd is a great band dark side love it but the wall is to cool get the movie its very strange
get the wizzard of ozz play them at the same time

Welcome to the fold :-) DSOTM was and is one of the defining moments in modern music,
I used to listen to it constantly back in the day. Used to cruise around town in my '69 Dodge Charger with it playing on my Muntz 8-track tape player. Ahhh, life was good!

if you love that then you will love "Dub Side of the Moon" its a dub reggae version of Dark Side of the Moon. its done by Easy Star All-Stars
