It's because they don't agree with the answer. They don't realize that that's a form of oppression towards freedom of speech. If it were up to certain people anybody who didn't agree with them would be oppressed and tossed into jail cells and tortured. I wonder now how many thumbs down I'm gonna get.

I rarely give thumbs down; basically only if I find it offensive. some people get off on thumbing down. but ain't no one going to break me!

some people give crappy answers and you just have to give them a thumbs down!
but it is kinda funny that some think they actually have 1 person who follows them around all day and "thumbs-downs" all their opinions! -lol-

oh yeah...some of these idiots have been after me...u just dont know....yesterday he/she was after every answer of mine ....even today i feel....
EDIT: u know why i feel so?...thats because i get some thumbs down when the uestion has passed off after about 23 hours.....thats too bad....
but i think its just jealousy...when some one gives a better answer,they do it
