Two nights ago , Kieth Olberman in a interview with Pat Tillmans mother, brought up his own conspiracy theory that the Pentagon had Pat Tillman killed on purpose to help increase recruiting.
Tillman's mother was speechless for a second, you could tell she couldn't believe he had actually ask her that question.
I think it's about time MSNBC fired Olberman, ranting about the president is one thing, but accusing the Pentagon of murdering a soldier on purpose to help recruiting is going way to far.

Funny how the Liberals seem to not hear Olberman ask Mrs. Tillman if she thinks her son was delibertely shot.
Now maybe in some liberal dream land, being delibertely shot doesn't mean murdered.
You Tell me.

You either did not see the interview and are relying on someone else's lies, or you are simply a liar yourself. Olbermann did not suggest that Tillman had been murdered, he merely brought up the fact that such a scenario had been suggested by other people, including Tillman's mother. There was nothing said about the "Pentagon" murdering Tillman, nor that he was killed to increase recruiting. Olbermann did ask Tillman "do you believe this administration used your son as a sales tool for war," to which she replied "Oh, absolutely, absolutely, yes."
I am including here the section of the interview most relevant to the question at hand, but please, don't take my word for it, and certainly not jeeper-peeper's. I have attached below the link to the entire interview (you'll have to scroll down a ways).
Tillman: . . . I think there's three scenarios possibly . . .
Olbermann: But you have included among those three things the possibility that someone deliberately shot him?
Tillman: I'm not excluding that.
Just because you (clearly) do not agree with Keith Olbermann or like his style is no excuse for misrepresenting what was said on his show. If we do not stick to the facts there can be no debate, only argument.

I saw the same interview. Olbermann never said that, you don't know what you are talking about.
Olbermann did say that the military attempted to use Tillman's death for recruiting purposes, which of course they did. And Tillman's mother absolutely agreed.
BTW, I think it's time Fox fired O'Reilly.
Also, as far as a "conspiracy theory", hello? There was a conspiracy to cover up Tillman being killed by friendly fire. The military BURNED his clothes and his diary.
You also make it sound as if Olbermann was leading Tillmans' mother in his questions, when she was absolutely scathing toward the military from the outset.
For the reality-based community, here is the actual link to the interview:

OK Olberman didn't say the Army purposely killed Tillman, but did say they covered up the reason behind his death as possilbe tool for recruitment, it kind of rings the same bell with Iraq war when they tried to make a huge issue of Jessica Lynch fighting off Iraqis when she was in fact unconscious and another memebr of unit was the one that tried to fend off the attack.

I herd the interview also. But get your facts straight.
The Pentagon mishandled this whole affair. They tried to cover it up. This is the 2 or 3 different story about Pat Tillman.
The Pentagon tried to use this to help in recruiting. We should not send soldiers to war without the best equipment that is possible. The Humvee's need armour.

You’re making things up! I saw that segment on March 27th and Olbermann never asked that.
He asked whether Mrs. Tillman had included, among the three scenarios that she said she wouldn’t discuss, the possibility that someone deliberately shot him. She didn't hesitate to respond. (It was a radio interview.) She responded that she didn’t think that she could exclude that possibility at this point.
Your inflammatory question does not reflect what actually happened.

I didn't see this so I would like a link of some sort. But if he did say that he thought the Pentagon was responsible for the death of Tillman, he was obviously wrong and insulting to his mother.

I would agree actually murdering a soldier would be one step worse than simply lying so as to cash in on his accidental death for recruitment purposes. Why you are convinced the Pentagon would draw the line at one and not the other is beyond me.

This is just another one of Keith Olberman's wild conspiracy theories. There is a website called someting like "out of work sportscaster" that lists a few more. He should go back to ESPN where he belongs. I have no idea how he got that job since there are better anchor people on espn (like stuart scott) let alone in the world of media. I am surprised that people still notice him since MSNBC lags far behind the other networks in ratings.
He would probably say that the ratings are a conspiracy too.

Shouldn't have lied in the first place to give him a inclining of a reason to say that. He's wrong for saying that, as is the Military for the way they handled it.
