The radiation from Cell Phones actually repels a form of Acne bacteria that is fatal in some genotypes. Left untreated, this strain can actually convert hair follicles into weeping pustules the size of a small grape.

There is absolutely no other reason other than an emergency. They are distracting and can be used to cheat on tests. The only reason I can think of...and it is pretty weak....is in case Mom or Dad needed to let him know they would be picking the child up or arranging things like that but you could also always call the office and have a message delivered to the students so that leaves me back to have no other reason than an emergency situation :-)

I can't think of ANY reason for a student to bring a cell phone to school... That wasn't necessary for a couple of hundred years in this country until just the past few years... IT ISN'T NECESSARY and it should NOT be allowed.
