The reason is simple. If the 'no picture' looked like a girl, there would be fewer people wondering about that. By the way, " No picture" sticker of a faint figure of a boy means what the boy does not have a picture or this is not the picture?

Because male sexists probably rule at Yahoo. Complain, get them to make the picture unisex or provide male and female choices, or make it with both a male and female shilouette.
