Values of the steel pennies aren't all that high because millions upon millions of them were made. In perhaps fifty years they might carry some value but one might not be able to find a buyer, other than for a curiosity, that is much higher than a few cents or a nickel per penny.

My parents gave me some and I have wondered the same question. Usually value of anything, comes with several key concepts, how well made is it and how common is it. These are coins so the standard for how they were made is all fairly uniform. If you have a few in very good condition then it might be something a bit more special As to how common these were, there were tens of millions of them made through the war years, so that doesn't help the value much at all.

i'm guessing that's in some form of holder. It had extra suitable be confusing plastic for cardboard might harm the coin. In Mint State- sixty 5 it has a value of approximately $3. There are some that grade larger yet they are no longer that person-friendly. the cost given is what a broker could pay. A broker or somebody needs to grade it, for if it grades larger that's properly worth extra. attempt extra suitable than one broker, that's consistently extra suitable to choose for the 2nd opinion. back in 1943 they did no longer make perfect money, like they do today. wish this enables for i will don't extra with out seeing it.
