Though West Indies are a very good cricket team, the are most inconsistent team as the players fail to perform to their potential consistently especially when put under pressure..

How GT Bai can blame Lara is beyond me. That's a downright STUPID answer. He is not the best captain ever but he's damn near the best batsman ever and the only hope the WI seems to have when things go bad.
WI fails because of a general lack of cricketing sense. The team is consistently changing it's players and as a result the team over the years never gets away from being inexperienced. Only two players are over 30, and only 3 or 4 have strong international cricket experience behind them. Additionally, WI isn't blessed with the smartest bunch right now. When they get pressured, they lose the plot and crumble. Additionally, we're still strapped for talent. Dwayne Smith could not make any other international side in the world, but he makes the WI team for his fielding (and bowling, apparently.
It's sad, but that's the truth. The team needs more experience, and more cricketing sense.

West Indies cricket team is poor because they have no more better players like they had in the past except for Brian Lara and Shivnarine Chanderpaul.

Clive Lloyd was an excellent captain and unite the team together, as they are from different country.
In the Olympic was a runner from Jamaica who was good at cricket and runner and he want an education so he chose running. So some young go to america to further education.

They don't have those guys that used to hit the ball for a six with one hand or bowl like a bullet speed.
I think they need to look for such guys
