We have a girl's name, but we're stuck on the boy. Do you like Adam or James (Jimmy)? I also feel like there's a couple I'm not thinking of - we like traditional names, nothing too common or trendy these days. Thanks!

Thanks to all those who actually answered my question instead of belittling my choices! As I said, I like traditional names, so kaden doesn't fit the bill. I also like names that are easy to spell and pronounce!

Hey! what a coincidence, the name we have chosen for a boy is Adam James ! Of course i love both of your choices but I had the same debate (Adam James or James Ryan), in the end I really liked Adam better than Jimmy and it also gave us the nickname AJ which is kinda cute.

(For a girl we have picked Lena McCole for her Egyptian/Irish heritage)

Congratulations

I say it all depends on how the first sounds with the middle and last name. I like James as a middle name. It's a nice first name, but you're son will soon be referred to as Jimmy or Jim. I like traditional names as well. What about Adam James? You can't really shorten the name "Adam".... Good luck!

Since you like both names how about James Adam or Adam James. I also like Joshua James, Nathaniel Adam, Lucas Adam. Best wishes!

I like James but not Jimmy.

Traditional names are becoming more and more common. Michael, Thomas, John, David are always going to be popular. Try Lucas, Simon, Issac or Mark.
