I heard it is some ridiculous amount around $500-$900. I have tried emailing my state but they beat around the bush about it and did not give me a numerical answer.
Has anyone competed in Miss USA? If so, what state and how much was the fee?

I have checked the websites for several states and none of them list the entry fee.

I think it does depend on the state most pageants are lke that becasue it depends on the number off people that competes in it.

It really depends on the state as it varies because they are run by different companies. The state pageants are not run by the Miss Universe Organization, but who ever holds the state license for their winner to go to Miss USA.
It would take a bit of investigating for your state, but a lot of them have their own website, where that information would be, along with an application to download to go with your entry fee.

I'm sure it cost a lot more than the Presidetial race entry fees.
