I tried jumping the wire to get codes but the light just stays lit. I replace the distributor, prior to replacing distributor I could hear fuel pump hum for a few seconds when i turn key to on, now i cannot hear that. Is it the ECM? TCU? Where is the TCU?

It's just a bad ignition switch. That's the only thing that would account for both the the engine not starting and the shifter not coming out of park. It would also explain the fuel pump not humming. The check engine light is always on when the engine isn't running.

The check engine light always is on when your ignition is live and the engine is not running.

Follow the correct procedure for using a jumper wire to get codes. Make sure you have the right pins.

Most likely you knocked some wires off screwing around with the distributor. Check for loose or disabled electrical connections where you did the work.

9 out of 10 car problems are caused by the last guy that worked on your car. That guy could be you.

One more thing, in many of today's cars, you must put your foot on the brake before you can shift it out of park. You may have a hard time with this if the electrics are dead/bad, because I believe the mechanism works off the brake light switch.
