Again, you are getting ahead of yourself to write the thesis until you know what your main points are.

You need to do some RESEARCH about Booth and Lincoln. You are already on the computer - do a .05 second search or go to Wikipedia.

It can't be that hard to actually show some effort, can it?

John Wilkes Booth assassinated Lincoln because he thought that Lincoln was the true enemy and monster of the South. He was a bigot who hated blacks and was for the institution of slavery as a Confederate sympathizer. He believed if Lincoln was dead the Confederacy would live and the North would have to sue for peace because they would be in chaos.
