The laws are there for a reason. Is it really that big of deal that you cannot buy markers, a lighter, or cigarettes at 18 and alcohol at 21? I don't and I'm 26!
They're small issues. Get over it.

Markers??? In Alaska you have to be 19 to buy tobacco products, and 21 for alcohol. You can buy lighters, cold medicine and all that junk if your under 18. Tobacco kills you, alcohol kills you... even medicine kills you, sounds like we are being protected. Life is too short to worry about laws, be thankful you can wear whatever you want, say whatever you want, persue anything you want, and walk out on the street feeling remotely safe. You can even worship whoever the hell you want. Oh and guess what, you can vote too, so maybe you should consider voting, if you don't like the laws so much... and you have to be 18 to do that to, so you don't make stupid choices and comments like you did today

Rule 1: Government is based on the retention of power.
RULE 2: It is the natural process of government is to continue to grow to increase power.
Rule 3: The larger the government power the less power to the people.
Rule 4: All governments grow to a point where the people have no allowed power.
Once the government passes all resonable laws the expansion of laws and ristriction of liberties still cannot stop. This is the exact reason all governments in all forms FAIL. We are on the same path as every government in history.
It isn't about protection, safety, health, etc. It is a WAR on PERSONAL FREEDOM, keep that in mind at all times, thank you.
Yes laws are getting to restrictive.

It's because our government has law makers, and thir only job in life is to make laws. Doesn't anyone see a problem with the fact that the amount of laws ALWAYS increases? Maybe we should elect Law Repealers.

I think people are getting a little too restrictive and don't want to take responsibility for their actions. here are a couple of examples oh I'm fat so I think I'll sue Sara lee or I spilled hot coffee on me oh i think I'll sue McDonald's, oh I have cancer now that i smoked for 30 years oh I'll sue the tobacco company's, our son shot himself in the head while listening to heavy metal music oh I'll sue Ozzy Osbourne, it has gotten way out of hand you have criminals suing because they tripped over one of your kids toys that was left out while he was robbing your house, or you now have kids suing their parents, it's all gone crazy and we are suffering for it, little by little we are having each and every little pleasure taken away because a few abuse them or just don't like them and don't want you to have them either!!
