Im just confused because ive heard so many things. I love hellsing and Alucard the most this i just something that has got me puzzled please help me.

I think you may have heard it from someone who likes yaoi but the actual gender of Alucard in the anime is a guy. His hair is very cool. XD

Alucard is a man. Maybe you are talking about Sir Integra who is a woman. People confuse her as a man because she dresses in a suit and she is called sir. She dresses in a suit because she is very professional and she is call sir because she is a knight of the Round table of the Hellsing organization.
