The real question is: when is too old for myspace.
I think he is too young for myspace, too many bad things going on there.

Unfortunately not a lot of kid friendly places out there, but 5th grade is too young for MySpace giving the fact that there's a lot of perverts putting out inappropriate content on the pages and kids don't need to see this stuff online. Maybe when he gets to 7-8th grade the mom can see about letting him have a MySpace account with stipulations and she should monitor what goes on it and what information is used.

I have a myspace and I'm 13. My daddy knows and he doesn't have a problem with it. He knows I'm smart enough not to talk to strangers. He could get a bebo though.
