No. Injuries are an assumed risk of the game, and as such, players are not able to sue each other. Its part of the standard permission form/contract.

Not really getting enough detail to give an answer. Well I mean yeah you could sue either way, but it is more a question of SHOULD you and COULD YOU WIN. So here is the thing. Was it a clean tackle? The two were playing ball the other one either tackled or knocked down(if it was a QB who had just thrown the ball) the one who got hurt? If it was a clean play and the kid got hurt then don't waste the time suing. It is part of the game. If it was a "dirty" play then yeah you can probably sue, and it would likely be the parents of the kid who hurt the other one. Unless you can prove that he was directed by the Coach, and in that case you sue the Coach.

Anyone can sue anytime they feel like it. Whether or not there is a CASE is the question. A good lawyer would point out the violence inerrant in the game and the fact that a person stepping into such a game would have to know this ahead of time, thus giving unspoken permission to be part of such violence and accept such violence as part of the participation in the game. The case is then null and void.

Probably not. There is an assumed risk in playing football such that it is known to be a dangerous sport (think firefighting). Depending on where the game took place, you may be able to sue if it was intentional.

Oh, you COULD sue, in fact, I'm sure some angry parent(s) might try to sue, but a lawsuit like that would be frivolous at best and be thrown out of court.

...but you could sue. Unsuccessfully.

Of course not, it's part of the game, stuff like this happens.

I once broke a kids arm once.

That's what I love about football though, you can hit people and it's fine.

If the hit was something that is not accepted in the game (ie a kick to the knee while he is running), then possibly. If it is just a hard tackle or block, no.
