*Snorts* I'm still alive aren't I? Like I got a death wish.
I have a black mama and I don't know if you've ever faced their wrath before, but its not pleasant.
Besides, I respect my mama way too much to ever disrespect her. My daddy on the other hand? F**k that ni99a

Never, I believe in respecting others especially parents. There is a difference between rationally voicing your opinion and just rudely talking back. I think if a person wants to be respected and wants to be heard, that you have to give the same back in return.

Never! I am a grown 36 year old woman with 3 children. As a child I was taught that the two people I should respect the most were my parents. I always did. I always will. They did a lot for me and I admire and respect them immensely.

I used to all the time, until I finally figured out that it doesn't do any good. Talking back isn't a very adult thing to do. If you treat your parents with respect and display a little maturity, they're twice as likely to let you have your way.

No, but I'm 32 and at my age we do not call it talking back... we call it "free thinking" ... or "disagreeing"
but as a child, through my teenage years; no I never talked back, raised my voice, or spoke harshly to either of my parents... never, the though to disrespect them in any would not have crossed my mind.

I am 28 and even though I do sometimes, I try really hard not to. Besides I was brought up with more manners and a good sense of my place in the world. One of those things is about respecting your elders.

I used to argue, but I never called names or said "I hate you". I Never told my step-dad "you're not my real Dad!" when I was mad at him either. Kids can be disrespectful though, look how rude kids are to each other. Maybe that's why parents ignore them when they talk back.

Hey Heather, pay back your parents for all the years of food, clothing and roof over your head. What a puke you are to belittle them!

Never in a million years. I'm 25, and I don't even curse around my parents.

I am 29 years and there is not enough money in the world that could get me to talk back to my folks.
