From the group stage each team has to win atleast two matches. The team which has got all the matches will advance to the super eight with a bonus two points. The second team from the group will qualify if they have won more matches or if they have the same matches it is decided on the point of net run rate.
Fom the super eight the team play with six teams but they dont play with the team which they have already played in the group stage. From their the top four teams qualify for the semi final. In the semi final the top team face off with the fourth team nad the second top team face with the third team.

There is no hard and fast rules as to how many points are required to go to the next round. It will depend upon the win/loss by the teams in the super 8 stages. However, I feel that whichever team gets 8 points can advance to Semi Finals. Whichever 4 teams which got more points will enter the semi finals.
