Why do you guys talk crap about each others bikes/groups???

Where does it takes you???

Do you really gain anything by doing this???

It's funny to see a HARLEY DAVISON lovers ride a JAPANESE car and METRIC lover ride a AMERICAN car. I have seen this many times!!! Don't believe me??? then check it out for your selves at your local store/neighborhood!!!

It's funny how you put at high the brand name you like but have you ever thought about what they think of you???

Do they do anything for you???

If machine breaks they really give a crap about it right???

Please don't respond with the typical childish tantrum answers, my intention is not to create more conflicts...

Think deeply and let me know what you think.

Ride safe!

This is not a problem I find myself facing everyday. For those people that are too stuck on their own product, they need to take a look at what riding really is. It is not about what you are riding, or the guy next to you is riding. It is about the fact that you are both riding. Both American and Asian bikes have parts being manufactured or processed in both areas so it is really not about that anyway. I have ridden Asian and American bikes, both are nice and I wave to anyone who waves back.

Very much agree!
These companies would care less if you like their product or not ones its out the door. Something goes wrong then you are on your own (and good luck with the warranty, they always try to bleim you for that problem).

I my self wave at any rider no matter what they are riding!

Different people have different taste!

And I do know what companies think about people like this... they laugh at these immature people!!! My good friend works at H-D and he always tells me stories about people even buying socks and weird things just because they have the H-D logo. He says they all laugh at them ones they walk out the door (they really can't laugh in your face because its a business thing, you don't buy and they woun't eat). Can't really make the same coment about the metric stores but I'm sure they are all the same.

About people driving the oposite brand I agree. The manager at my local Kawa dealer drives a bad @ss mustang cobra and rides a vulcan 2000 custom!

Part of the alure of motorcycles is the feeling that you're a rebel, an outsider that doesn't conform to the mold (at least in the U.S.). It's also very much a hobby, and a specialty hobby - you tend to hang around groups of people that have the exact same interest as you. If you ride Harleys, you want to go to Harley bars, sip cappucino and talk about your IRA or how your dental practice is picking up. If you ride vintage metric bikes, you'll want to go to juke joints and talk about the cheapest price for oil (since your bike's leaking) and hair grease. If crotch rockets are your thing, you'll hang out in McDonalds parking lots and discuss the minimum age of consent. Most people choose a bike style based on the lifestle associated with it, and part of the fun of it is ragging on the other groups. I personally have an assortment of bikes for different purposes. I ride my '82 Honda 750 LTD every day, since it's the most comfortable bike I've ever been on. If I'm going to a Harley-type place, I ride my Vincent, and NOBODY gives me crap. If I'm going to be around crotch rocket types, I take my truck.

I like to talk to myself? Just kidding.
I sit on the fence. I don't have a problem either way, I ride both, have an International, Dodge and a Ford in the driveway.
I get treated about the same at both dealerships.
That's not really a good thing, considering what was bought where. Poor service is poor service, no matter the name.

Thank you Rune.
There is really no need to think deeply. There are a few buttheads, who probably don't even ride, that like to stir **** by making anti Harley statements in the form of questions.

im 55 yrs old and my husband told me to go get the bike i wanted. I went to the harley shop four times with twenty grand cash in my pocket. i couldnt even get anyone to wait on me. I finally found a friend to let me try out their sportster and found it to be kinda small and top heavy. I then went to EVERY shop i could find looking and trying out all the bikes. I found the 1100 yamaha was low enough for my height and it was the best bike i tried out on the curves (i live in the mountains) I had it lowered even more. I have been able to find aftermarket products that i didnt have to mortgage the house to get. My son has a harley and every thing he gets fixed on his costs twice what it does for mine. Harley spends millions on their advertisement, thus the price of the bikes go up. when my son wants to work on his himself he has to pay double for the tools to repair it. When I ride my bike, which is now customized and i have won several trophies on it, I get snubbed by the harley riders many times. not all of them, but lots of them. I have been to many bars where the harleys refuse to even park beside me because i ride a yamaha. Most of the people who do this have the mentality to go along with it, and trust me, they are not hells angels, just wannabees. I get so sick of the attitude given to me it has made me sick of the harley name. I dont wear tommy hilfiger either. also, i put more miles on my yamaha than most of those weekend harley riders do. Riding what you are comfortable on and gives you a good ride is what is most important. My son gave me his new harley, but I chose not to ride it. for one, it costs out the butt to keep maintained and doesnt ride comfortable at all and seems small to me. I LOVE MINE. I have many friends who insist on riding their harleys and going home to their camper trailer, lol, my money goes to riding, and a nice home. its my choice. Even if i were filthy rich with money to waste, i would stick to my bike. It has been very dependable and costs little to maintain. of course, im a woman, lol, how much sense do we have? LOL
