I don't know about you but the thought of any man touching my wife or looking at my wife when I was married absolutely infuriated me. I believe if a woman is married, no other man has a right to touch her in her secrets.

Thats a stupid question!! Women need doctors, male or female!! You are too insecure!! Besides, do you think the doctor hasn't seen it all before!! They are there to help people not sexually molest them as you seem to think!! Sometimes women feel more comfortable with a woman doctor!! Do you want some woman sticking a tube up your anus!! Doctors are trained to do a job that most people could not do!! Believe me, except for the few perverts out there, they are doing just that!! Its not about touching her inner secrets!! It is about getting the help that you need from a professional!! Don't be so niave!!

Restricting someon'es choice is really none of our business, but if your wife truly understands your nature and respects your perspective (that you are a bit on the protective side)she wouldn't get a male doctor in the first place. Some women are raised in such a way and they prefer a husband of similar views.

Remember though, what you expect out of someone is consequently expected out of you. So, if you do draw such wide lines for someone on discipline and behavior, you better not be ballin' out with your own personal female secretary and a personal female medical staff ;)

Any woman should have any doctor that they feel comfortable with, be that doctor male or female.

I would like to counter you with your own philosophy, if I may. You think women should be at home doing housework and taking care of their husbands and children and not out in the workforce, right? If that were the case, do you feel married women should not be entitled to health care at all? I mean, if only men were doctors, would you not allow your wife to see at doctor at all? Or would you just suck up your male ego and let your wife get the health care she needed?

you know, when i had to go to a obgyn i thought it would be strange to go to a man so i went to a woman doctor. then when i got pregnant i chose a different woman doctor, she was really rough and unkind. when i went to a man he was very gentle and his bedside manner was much better than the female doctor. i think men doctors are actually better because they ARENT women and they dont know what hurts and what doesn't so they are just cautious. Maybe women doctors get burned out on it. i don't know..

No, sweetie, that would be inappropriate, those parts of my body are only for you.
XOXO

I know women wouldn't make as great doctors as men but since I am a woman and need a woman doctor I think I would be much safer if you at least stayed to help. ; )

Well, what's the alternative? You don't want your wife treated by an inferior female doctor, do you? You wouldn't be providing for her health properly if you did. I'm surprised at you. You know full well that men are smarter.

Being a female, I have always preferred having a male doctor do my exams. Having a women do a pelvic just never sat well with me.

Married women can have male doctors just like married men can have female doctors. I don't think it makes any difference.

what if she gave birth? are you going to ask that no men are in the room. What if she had breast cancer? Are male docs & nurses allowed to help her? Give her a break. She can see whatever doctor she is comfortable with

I don't see a problem with it. You hear about a small minority on the news once in awhile, but most doctors are good men who would never do anything inappropriate.
