A couple of days ago, NBC reported a story about an anti LDS, (Mormon) group that has launched a U.S. nationwide effort to question the LDS beliefs via a free dvd. Got mine in the mail today. There is an address on the dvd liner in Tooele, Utah USA. Just curious, who is this group?

This should be a good start and explanation. Enjoy the vid...or not. I'd definitely see it as entertainment rather than fact.

Hmmm...I am from Utah but never heard of such a group. I am not surprised in the least though, it is the adversary trying to lead others away from the gospel. That's been happening since Adam and Eve and will continue until Christ comes to rule and reign personally upon the earth...
I would caution you about the kind of message the dvd is giving - always check with the official source for correct information. If there is something you have a question about, please go to LDS.org or mormon.org...sadly, most of the time anti-Mormon literature/video/information is half-true, misconceived, falsified for their means or sometimes flat out lies. Good luck and may the spirit help you know what is true.

Sounds to me like typical anti-Mormon underhanded, cowardly tactics. They say that they are "hoping to convince members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that the church is a non-Christian cult."

Excuse me.

(ROFLMBO!!!)

OK, I'm back. They also insist "that this method is working. The group has received dozens of calls to the hot line it posted on the bags." But, I am willing to bet my furniture on the fact that the ONLY sincere calls they are getting are either ignorant non-Mormons, or thse who's names are on the rolls of the church, but are so inactive that they know nothing of their own church, and are willing to believe whatever to have an excuse to leave. But, if I were to look at it before I knew what it was, I would take it out and use it as a frisbee to play catch with the dog.
