Us guys are just playing the gentleman in a date that is why we offer to pay. But independent women are considered classy because they have character that is not a common trait. Many women wouldn't hold the power they hold now in the world if they didn't stand up for what they believe in. Look at the postion of women 50 years ago, they were all housewives literally! So I applaud you for being yourself and don't let anyone change that. And don't worry, you'll eventually meet someone that will meet you halfway for the date ;).

frequently talking men don't like little presents. Like: television, new cd participant for vehicle, potential equipment Dislikes: valueless trinkets that take up area and ultimately get moved to a container someplace. do not study about the dinner ingredient i do not care, yet I were married for a decade so who spends the money is extraordinarily arbitrary because the money all comes from an same position

I guess, they want to be the one in charge... Be the one with the Money, or the Gift to give... Then there are some, who don't want to look like they're mooching off a female. They'd rather pay...

Personally I prefer independant women. Especially after being with my broke a** ex.
And no I don't need a woman to support me.

Some guys love it. Encourage the heck out of it. And then want you to support them....I married one of those, and divorced him, and had to pay HIM spousal support. I like being treated as an equal, though, as my current husband does.
