You are having a private phone conversation and people listen in and make comments when you are obviously not talking to them?

Thank you so much for your answers it drives me insane and my coworker does it all the time and I don't always have the ability to move to another room.

It makes me want to strangle her

Ah yup. I just say, to the person on the phone, "excuse me I'm around rude jerks, let me go into another room."

Yes, then I usually start talking louder to cover up their comments and that usually gives them the hint. Some people are oblivious and should get a punch in the face though.

YES! My boyfriend does that all the time! Especially when I'm on the phone with my mother. I constantly have two conversations going on at once. It's so annoying!

Depends on where I'm having it. If I happen to choose to talk privately in the wide open, where everyone MUST hear me, I think I'm asking for it.

Augh! Yes!! That is even worse than when people do that while you're having a conversation with someone in person!!

I think your the one being rude.Taking a call while your in the company of someone else is very rude.If you must take the call excuse yourself and go somewhere you wont bother anyone else.

Yeah and the nosey @$$ are never around when you are paying your bill over the phone so they can give me their account to pay it with
