It's also a matter of honor and truth. Great Britain has proven that it's actions were in Iraqi waters, why should it allow that lying piece of shiit Ahmadinejad, to win the propaganda war !
The dumb @ss Iranians disputed the British coordinates of where the incident took place, and produced their own coordinates. When the Iranian coordinates were examined, they found that there coordinates too, were in Iraqi waters. I mean, how f-ckin dumb can these ragheads possibly be?
At the rate the Iran government is embarrassing it's own people, the only solution for them will be the old Italian solution, regarding Mussolini !

They felt they did nothing wrong and will never say they did.
They seem to have satellite inteillgence to prove it BUT ( and I mean but) it will be met with skepticism because of their and one of their staunchest allies habits of doctoring pictures. I only hope they are the genuine article which would substantiate their claim of being in Iraqi waters.
The US doctored satellite photos in Gulf War 1 when they showed a picture of the Iraqi army amassing on the Saudi/Kuwaiti border to convince the Saudis to join the fight against Iraq.
The problem was, the Iraqi army was never there. This was exposed by the St. Petersburg Times that same year-1990.
A year later, Powell would admit to getting the numbers wrong. There was no massive build-up. But by then, the war had been fought.
Be that as it may, this move was done by the Republican Guard whose loyalty is to the Grand Ayatollah. This was a move to embarrass Amadenijad prior to his coming to the UN and it worked.
They will be released soon and quietly

Because that will only add fuel to allow Iran to say "They committed an act of war by violating our waters. Now we must retaliate." Iran's leaders only want the world to see that the Iranian government was proven right by an outside country.

They didn't do anything wrong. They were still in Iraqi waters and the Iranians think they can get away with anything they want. Britian shouldn't negotiate.

You really think Iran would let them go if they 'admitted' anything?
From what I understand, they were not in Iranian waters.

And give in to international Blackmail? They were in the right, why should they have to admit to anything?
