I could not agree with you more.
There are so many people on this site who are grasping for anything to make the current administrations look bad. It really is pathetic.

Yes Iran is at fault as usual. They are trying to gain support from their own people. Since Russia and China have made a bold gesture to support the rest of the nations of the world, Iran is now trying to force their hand.
What they did by kidnapping 15 Britons is typical of a nation that thinks they carry a big stick. They want to become the leader in the Big East WHOOPS Middle East!

whilst Iran gets the bomb they're going to declare conflict on Israel then we are into WW 111. some Muslims communities evaluate Israel the Anti- Christ and are pushing for the top situations. Iran is now flexing its capability. It took over the oil wells in Southern Iraq and Iraq has yet to do something.

Iran wouldn't be able to do what they do best - kidnap and hold for hostage - if Bushie hadn't tied all of our resources into the illegal and deadly invasion of Iraq.
Iran feels embolden because it's leaders know there is not one thing we can do about it. All of our fighting forces are in Iraq and those left in the U.S. aren't battle ready.
Look, you have to realize the whole Middle East is going to become more and more unstable over the next several years - and the blame for that is put right at Bushies feet.
You can thank him for the chaos that will follow our departure from Iraq.

No one has declared war on anyone. Iran says the boat was in their waters. The Brits say it was Iraqi waters. I haven't seen any conclusive evidence one way or the other, at least it hasn't been made public. If the Iranians are right then its the Brits who started this.

Liberals all blame the US and Uk for all the world's problems. They want Communism , and may one day acheieve it if people do not wake up and think for themselves.

Where is the waterway? Is it in the channel? is it somewhere between the british isles? no. It is in a country illegally invaded by the UK and the US. They should be careful not to provoke countries with actual armies.
Besides, how can you believe your government? they lied about WMD's, about Tonkin, they lied about Afghanistan, about Nicaragua, they lied about Granada. I would not trust them if i were you. Your government is putting you in the line of fire, and then blaming "the bad guys". You should smarten up.

First, was there a formal declaration of war that the rest of us somehow missed, or are you just talking about an act of war?
Second, if the British forces were actually in Iranian waters, then Iran is completely within its legal rights to arrest them.
But yes, if the British forces were not in Iranian waters, and did not attack Iranian forces first, then it would be an act of aggression that would justify Britain declaring war on Iran.
