Yes I work rotating shifts. For two weeks I'm on day's 7 till 4.
Then evenings 4 to 12.
Then nights 12 To 7 Then all over again...
All have advantages, but getting to sleep is the hardest thing..

My Husband works 12 hour shifts with only half an hour break. He does Continental shifts starting at 7 in the morning til 7 at night and vice versa. Sometimes between shifts he has about week off.

I have worked any, and all shifts in my life. My favorite has always been the graveyard shift. (Midnight to eight thirty.) It's a completely different world out there then. Plus, I was able to do things during the day, that I couldn't working the day shift. Shopping and banking is a lot less busy during the week.

Yes, but not night shift. Just make sure you get a balance. As many normal (ie 9-5) type shifts as possible. I love working different shifts as I get to sleep in some mornings and can schedule in appointments, do shopping etc when things are quieter.

I work 24-hour shifts every Tuesday and Friday. Sometimes I wish I had a rotating shift, because they get six days in a row off every other week. On the other hand, they work 24-hours every other day for three straight shifts, which is really rough. At least I have every Saturday and Sunday off.
