We have a 2kw Russell Hobbs ceramic heater and are thinking of taking it with us when we drive to our apartment on the Costa del Sol. Will it work when we get there?

Yes it will work and you can buy an adaptor from any 100 pts shop, now called todo cien or bazaar. It should only cost you 1 euro or less ( approx 60p )

Yes of course. You can use an adaptor at first, but I suggest changing the plug eventually. Choose the round thick plugs not small flat 2 pin ones, the first option has a space for the earth cable, the other not.

voltage in Spain is 220 AC, 50 HZ , almost the same, you won't have a problems, but you have to buy adaptor for your 3 pin plug.
