I'm afraid you're right, bolt ! At least the Persian part of the middle east needs re-arranging ! Iran is the catalyst to all that is wrong in the middle east, and their biggest problem is they are all talk.
This is a country that fought Iraq for eight years until they finally surrendered I The US had Iraq on it's knees in less than a week ! Can they really be serious, that the US couldn't crush them like a bug. The same holds true with Great Britain and Israel, any of these country's could destroy Iran in a matter of days. Are these people totally out of their friggin minds?
Two carrier groups and a battalion of Marines for mopping up, is all it should take to see an Iranian white flag flying over Tehran ! It's not a question of if, it's a question of when !

I fail to see how wiping out a section of the planet could have anything other than devistating consequences for the rest of us. Keep in mind that people all over the planet have family and loved ones who live in the middle east. Besides, if we weren't battling Terrorism in the Greatest War in the History of all Civilization, then we would seek out a new enemy to revile and be deathly afraid of. Communists, European Colonial Powers, etc there's always a FOE for us to pin all our aggression on. Has it ever occurred to you that the KEY to peace is to have mutual understanding and respect? Sure we don't have any control on the actions of others, but we can start by setting an example and not acting like the very people who you claim are out to destroy us.

The problems in the Middle east have been going on for thousands of years...rightly or wrongly...and you say destroy them???
The home to 3 major religions?The home to countless archeolgy finds?The birthplace of mankind?
What you need to do is educate people...remove those that seek to keep people in ignorance to further their own goals.Education is the only way to stop this...not destruction.
Should America be destroyed for the years of slavery we condoned?Or the British destroyed for the years of colonization?Or maybe the Germans since they were responsible for 2 world wars?
How about we destroy the French for what they did under Napoleon?Better yet...destroy Spain for what they did in South America in the middle ages?In this case Europe would be destroyed...plus the US...along with the Middle East...brillant plan you propose small mind...

I know that I don't want to see it destroyed, but I also don't think that the US or any European country will be responsible for its destruction. The people in that part of the world have been fighting for a very long time. The recent reason for war over there is to fight the US and Israel. People don't understand that they would still be fighting even if Israel and the US were not there.

World peace is not possible and will never be possible. No matter what is done there will always be people that hate for what ever reason. Why do most U.S. citizens think that Middle Easterners are the only people on the planet that hate Americans. What about the Vietnamese, North Koreans, Japanese, Russians, British, Germans, etc...

Destroyed not such thing can hap pend...Exterminate terrorist yes and the ones that master mind it...
It will need for the US to teach them that a religious shouldn't be use to kill.
And that what happened in the past Gov of that country it was wrong for them to teach them hate.
I say a new generation of people of peace can be done after all.

To have peace in the Middle East the US should just retreat. Not just from Iraq, but from everywhere. To have world Peace, we need to empower the UN to dismantle all nuclear weapons and end economic injustice. The laws are already in place, we just need to enforce them.
The Nuremberg Tribunal makes aggression a crime. We need to take Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld to the Hague! That is the first step towards world peace.
