A lot of first time moms don't feel the baby move until after 20 weeks. It's pretty normal.
It could be that the baby is moving, you just don't recognize the movement. Sometimes it feels like gas, or like a fluttering sensation. You will feel soft movements, mostly little bumps, or tickles for the first little while- could be a few weeks to a few months- before you feel kicks.
The baby is still small enough that the muscles aren't developed enough for strong kicks. They will be soon, but don't worry. This is totally normal. As long as your doctor has said everything looks good, you're fine. It will happen soon enough, and then it won't stop until the baby is born!

Well every woman is different. Some feel kicks very early on and some don't feel them until later in the pregnancy. Do you feel bubbles in your belly? Like a gasy feeling or something? Because that is the baby moving. He/she may just not be strong enough yet to really KICK you.

You can have an anterior placenta which makes it harder to feel the baby until well after 20 weeks. The baby can be positioned in a way you can't feel kicks too. Or maybe you do have kicks, but you don't know what they are! Don't worry and talk to your doctor about it.

That far along in your pregnancy it wouldnt really feel like a "kick". Right now it would feel like more of a "flutter". Kind of like butterflies. If you don't feel anything soon though make sure you let your doctor know. You should have heard the baby's heartbeat by now so if you have, I wouldn't really worry about it. An ultrasound would show any problems. Good Luck!!!!

hi there and congrats! i have 4 children(4yrs.2 1/2yr.old twins and a 18 month old)and to be completely honest with you i only felt the twins moving.i always woundered when i went to my docs appt. if i should say anything but never did.not good advice.definatly tell your doc.they can palpate your baby certain ways that will get him moving.sometimes it feels like gas bubbles.also unless your(not your doctor) completely certain about the date you concieved, your "due date" could be off by as much as 4weeks.(mine was) i didn't have a period the month before i got pregnant,so of course my doc thought i was a month ahead of where i actually was! i hope this puts your mind at ease and good luck with baby:)

Sometimes, especially during a first pregnancy, you may not feel the baby kick. Also, the baby could be laying so you can't feel her/his kicks. They feel like gas bubbles at first, so maybe you ARE feeling them but you just don't recognize them. If you're really concerned, ask your OB and he may order an ultrasound just to ease your mind.

you should be feeling the baby kick at 16 weeks. if this is your first time then you might just not be picking up on it yet. do yourself a favor and call the doc and see what he thinks . good luck.

Is this your first? If so, give it a few more weeks and you WILL feel the kicking, moving around, etc....
If you haven't felt ANYTHING at all yet, then I would say be concerned.

You could be feeling it & not know it...I describe it as being tickled from the inside....Although now I feel a definite kick & see my tummy. But my abs are pretty strong so maybe that's why I felt it early. As long as the dr.'s not concerned I wouldn't worry. :)

It feels form of strange, to tell the fact. in simple terms a splash painful in the beginning up, yet no longer horribly so. frequently it in simple terms feels strange, exceptionally to have something somewhat vast (now, I ask for forgiveness for what's coming, yet you asked for information) shifting interior you like that. After the act, that's organic to experience a splash awkward around the guy you probably did it with, in simple terms on account that's an intimate act of love. If it is not executed with a individual you relatively have faith, and till you're a large sl*t (which it would not sound such as you're), you could locate which you're feeling a splash violated to have executed such an intimate act with somebody who would not seem to delight in the magnitude of it as much as you do... So my suggestion is to be careful approximately whom you have intercourse with. It seems such as you and your bf have been jointly for awhile... yet nevertheless, that's an intimate act, and ladies tend to attach extra emotion to it than some adult males. optimistically your bf is the kind who is conscious in simple terms how sacred intercourse is. additionally, you frequently pay attention approximately human beings asserting that intercourse is thoroughly large and impressive and that they choose for to do it 4 circumstances an afternoon... yet relatively, exceptionally for the female... Her first time in all likelihood should not be that astounding of an experience. till you're actually aroused, in simple terms the fact this could be your first time will make you somewhat worried and maybe no longer as into the act as you would be waiting to get later down the line, as quickly as you have grown comfortable with doing it, the positions, what to anticipate, and so on. So i does no longer anticipate no heavenly experience or something like that your first time... yet those reports will are available in due time, later down the line. it form of feels exceptionally person-friendly that females are not getting aroused as quickly as boys, so that's extra durable for them to have orgasms than that's for the guy. basically a fact of existence. it gets much less demanding with time... And develop right into a extra fulfilling experience with, of direction, extra experience. wish this enables. :)
