I hurt my ankle today. I was climbing up these piled bleachers and when i jumped off (3 feet from the ground) I accidently landed on a volleyball and heard my ankle crack. (3 hours ago) Its not swollen or bruised in anyway, I just cant move my left ankle around in circles.

What kind of injury is it?
How can you help it heal?
How long will it take to heal?

Elevate your leg and put ice on it. Try moving your ankle up and down. Also try to stand on it and apply pressure. If you cannot do either of these I would recommend going to see a doctor because it could be broken or a fracture. Try pushing random spots on your ankle to determine if there is any pain. If you could do either of these chances are you severely sprained your ankle. You can go and purchase an air cast which helps you walk with the injury or you can use an ace bandage. The healing process can take anywhere from days to weeks and in some cases months. I would recommend seeing a doctor just to be certain of your injury. I've had plenty of these injuries ranging from being able to continue daily activities as well as extra-curricular activities to some degrees where the leg had to be immobilize. Hope this information is useful.

I badly sprained my ankle about 3 weeks ago. I was in a hurry going down the stairs, lost my balance and landed on a bad side of my left foot, causing my left ankle to be stretched going on the inside. The first 48 hours were excruciating and the pain was un-believable. I've never had a serious ankle injury before.

So I immediately treated it using the RICE method. The following day, the bruising and swelling were so horrible. I found out that I got a second degree sprain and immediately panicked after that. I had a football game on that week and it been looking forward to it because I've been training for rt. I had teammates that had similar injuries and it took them months to fully recover, some of them stopped playing altogether. So I kinda had a short-term depression because I can't imagine myself not being able to run and play sports anymore.

Because I was so desperate to recover again, I contacted a lot of people that I know who do sports and asked them if they had similar injuries. One friend of mine, from the boy's football team in my university, told me about H.E.M. Ankle Rehab. I got a copy 4 days after I got injured. I immediately read and followed what was instructed and felt improvement on the first day. I was able to walk a bit, but I was in pain.

A couple of days after that, the swelling and bruising were subsid-ing significantly and on the fourth day, I was walking comfortably again. Although I've had felt a bit of stiffness, I continued doing what was instructed. My sister was surprised that I have recovered this fast. I told her about this book and was shocked on how effective the procedures were. I'm just so happy that this book was shared to me and how effective it is.

Heal your ankle fully & fast?

If it isn't swollen or bruised, then it must be a broken ankle, or a fractured ankle. Try going to the doctor, and tell them what happen. You know they know what to do, LOL. It my take a month or so to heal. I hope you feel much better!

You should probably get that checked. I was playing defense in a soccer game once and i broke my ankle stopping a ball but it didn't swell or bruise. It took a few weeks to heal.

The only way you will know for sure is to go and get an x-ray of your ankle. Don't play around and guess.
