I am planning on staying with my wife until the day one of us dies. And for the kids, we can't wait until the three of them out of the house.

We've been together for 8 years, married for 6 on April 7. And yes I think we will be together forever. He was divorced before and on my side he was my first boyfriend. We are now 44 and 45, and I think that the reason why we will be together forever is that we don't keep anything from each other. We are each others best friends and we have fun together. We don't need to go out all night with other people, we like to be together. We have a wonderful 5 year old son, who is the light of our lives and he is also with us all the time.
The key is to be honest, and not to forget that marriage is a commitment and that it takes a lot of sacrifices on both parts. Also say what you have to say, and say it right away. My husband wasn't use to that, when he first met me, now he loves that about me. When I'm mad I don't pretend everything is fine, to explode 3 days later about something that has nothing to do with it. We fight, get over it and that's it.
Yes I will be with him forever...
Good Luck

I plan on staying w/ my hubby unless something drastic happens between now and forever. We don't even have children so it's not like we're staying together for their sake. We love one another- hopefully enough to weather any storm.

Sometimes it seems like a one day at a time decision, but my PLAN is to stay. We made a committment to God and each other. We have things to overcome like being single for almost 20years and step-children, but we're trying.

I have for 23 years and I don't really see any changes otherwise. unless of course one of us shuffles off this mortal coil. in that event we've seen to it that all finances are cleaned up with mortagage insurances and loan insurances that cover the death of a spouse.
Always plan ahead I say.

AS LONG AS BOTH OF YOU KEEP TRYING THERE IS FOREVER UNTIL YOU BOTH STOP PUTTING THE EFFORT IT TAKES TO KEEPING THE SPARK AND EVEN THEN THE COMPROMISE WITH THE CHILDREN IS STILL THERE YOU CAN DIVORCE THE SPOUSE YOU DO NOT DIVORCE THE CHILDREN. THEY ARE THE BEST THING YOU HAD TOGETHER.
