If it is a disposable one then remove the cap, insert the nozzle into your rectum while you lie on your side and squeeze the bottle till the solution is gone. Hold the solution in your rectum for about 5 minutes till you feel the urge to have a bowel movement. If it is an enema bag you will use then fill it with at least 1 quart of lukewarm water and add either castile soap or baking soda to the water. Be sure the clamp is closed and use a lubricant on the nozzle like KY jelly,. Insert the nozzle into your rectum while you lie on your side and then release the clamp some and let the solution flow into your rectum. If you feel cramping or the urge to expell it close the clamp and take some slow deep breaths till the feeling passes. Release the clamp and try to take as much of the enema as you can hold. Wait about 5 minutes before expelling the enema and BM on the toilet.

I would suggest just reading the directions on the carton. Not a complicated thing. If you still have quesitons ask your doctor.

Insert the tube into your nostril as far as you can... then squeeze the bottle/bag until empty. Repeat in other nostril.
