I wear glasses. And I also wear eye make up--every day. Why can't you do both?

Wear eye make up then. Obviously you don't have very good eye sight. I have -8 (I am blind as a bat) and I just take off my glasses, get as close to the mirror as possible, and make my self pretty. You can do anything. And as long as you aren't wearing those wrap around sunglasses old people wear, then you can see through the lenses. If you haven't applied makeup with out your glasses on before, then I would suggest testing it out on the weekend, or if you are not going out. And as you practice and get better, you will be able to line your eyes and apply shadow with your glasses on! It takes some time, but you can anything you set your mind to! HAVE FUN WITH IT!

You can get away with makeup when you're wearing glasses. Just be aware that certain types of glasses can make your eyes look bigger or smaller and do your makeup accordingly (eg: if your eyes look smaller because of the lens, don't overdo the mascara. That can make your eyes look even smaller). You want to find a balance between your frames and your make-up (don't wear blue make-up if your glasses are pink). You can also get away with glittery stuff during the day because your glasses tend to tone them down if they are dark frames.

Groomed brows, neutral eyeshadow or soft eyeliner, curl your lashes & apply mascara = the easiest way to start. Clear mascara will help hold the curl w/o the worry of getting colored flecks on your lenses.

Here's an excerpt from an article about eyemakeup:

EYEGLASSES

If you wear eyeglasses, get lenses with a no reflective glare, allowing others to see your eyes. If you have thick lenses that make your eyes look larger, go easy on the mascara; if the lenses make your eyes look smaller, be sure to line your eyes to bring them out. Your eyebrows, not your eyeglass frames, should define your face, so make sure to keep them well groomed. Are your glasses a strong color? Then keep your shadow neutral and concentrate color elsewhere on your face.

If you can't get contacts (too expensive, irritate your eyes, etc.), you could also just...wear eye makeup. I wear glasses, and I also wear eye makeup. Is there any specific reason that you wouldn't want to wear eye makeup and glasses?

glasses shouldnt stop you from anything, i have glasses too ya know. try using contacts instead you will be able to see, and you can see your makeup better. even if you arnt a contact lens wearer, that shouldn't stop you from wearing eye makeup girl! you can still see it

not sure what you're looking for in regards to an answer, but don't let the fact that you wear glasses stop you from wearing cosmetics! you can wear whatever you like, shadows, liners, mascara (unless your lashes are super long & they hit your lenses, then you would have mascara streaks & that wouldn't be good) ... work it girl!

You should get contacts then! Some can be really uncomfortable so i would go to the eye doctor and get some that meet your needs! Good Luck!
