I love Black. Especially shooting a wall and seeing all the smoke, chunks of wall, and little debris just blast away and all over. Taking the grenade launcher and launching a grenade and seeing all the smoke and debris shooting up in the air and the bodies fly from the blast. The look, the feel, and the sounds of the guns shooting, reloading, and the sound of switching from one weapon to another. Only thing I wish it had was more destructible environments. Say it is the first level and you are near the end where the enemies in the walkway before you go into that little garage, through the door, and mission is over. I would like to of thrown a grenade up there and blast out the whole walls and everything there or take the RPG and blast out the bottom where they all fall to their deaths. Hopefully in the next one for a next-gen system they can incorporate a little bit more of the destroying of environments and not the key destruction to get to another point in the level. I would love to see leveled city blocks because you used grenades and RPGs on all the buildings! But very fun game indeed. One of my top FPS games I have ever played.

I also like Black it is definitely the best single player FPS ever it has gorgeous graphics that would even put some next gen games to shame,it has inteligent AI and difficult missions it has amazing destructable environments and well designed levels but it has no multiplayer and a short single player.FPS is a genre that gets most of its replay value from multiplayer so to be the best you need multiplayer.
There alot of FPS with multiplayer the best ones are Halo,Timesplitters,Far Cry ,Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six.
If you can manage the difficulty Ghost Recon is probably the best.It has great graphics, tactics, innovation,a long single player,co-op online or off and multiplayer online or off.It is best on 360 but Its great on any console.

i've got faith that this is not brought about by potential of the video recreation itself, relatively that the guy would have an underlying psychological ailment and decide to re-enact or replica something from the recreation (e.g. working human beings over on account which you probably did on GTA). in spite of if this is so with all varieties of leisure that contain memories and disclose from certainty, so books approximately violence and flicks like pulp fiction, are merely as probable to be the perpetrator as call of accountability. Even by potential of banning all books, video clips and video games, this does not fix the difficulty, as those with psychological ailment will nonetheless have psychological ailment and human beings will nonetheless tell memories. for this reason, human beings could merely end scapegoating video games because of fact the reason for the violent incidents (as i'm optimistic they did with violent video clips approximately 60-70 years in the past) and look greater at engaged on an infrastructure which could discover those human beings and help them, so as that they are able to stay a chuffed, usual existence.

Counter-Strike: Source. It's the only game that keeps calling me back (and before Source, it was CS 1.x). Currently I love playing GunGame (a mod for CS:S).

Not a big fan of 'am at all...
However, if you were to force me to choose, I'd say CoD, the German Front mod.
I play 'em because (one of) the group(s) I game with like shooters. (They're playing 2142 right now.)
We have plans to pick-up UT2007.

i'd have to say timesplitters, it rocked, especially future perfect, but at the moment i'm really taken by resistance: fall of man, it's so good, frantic and strange, it's amazing, can't wait for the second one, Rise of man
