Checking fouls, the game needs more contact on the perimiter.

Like the man said, if you initiate the contact you get the foul. Jumping into defenders should be an offensive foul. Also enforce the rules they have. Traveling for instance. And calling an intentional foul at the end of a game intentional, two shots and the ball, would stop that crap.

Though this is not actually a rule, I think that refs should no longer call fouls when a shooter jumps in the air and jumps into the defender forcing contact and drawing a foul. If a defender jumps but stays in his zone, the offensive player should not be able to lean into him and force contact and draw a foul. It's a cheap move and players have been using it for years to get fouls and it just takes away from the game itself.

I would take the 5 sec in the Paint rule out, that would be sweet so guys Like Shaq, Alonzo Mourning, Ben wallace can sit right in the paint and wait for anyone who's crazy enough to go down the lane. offenses would definitely have to change their game plan.

Intentional fouling isn't a rule and can't be made a rule, it would be hard to tell if someone fouled intentionally or accidently. If i could change a rule it would be 3 seconds in the key. If someone wants to stand uner the hoop, I say let them.

If you mean the NBA, I think they need to move the 3 point line up to 20 feet, 6 inches. I know the three has become way too popular in both college and the NBA, but if they're going to shoot it, why not make it the international length. I think scoring makes basketball more exciting.

The 3-second technical. The 3-second is bad enough but technicals should be reserved for players or coaches getting out of control, not for something little like sitting in one place a second too long.

I would say no jump balls. Why leave something to height when the taller guy's involved? That's by no means equal. Make it something more exciting like each team takes a FT until the other misses (at least in the 4th quarter when it's close).

NO 3 seconds. Let Shaq stay in the paint. IF there were no 3 sec. Shaq would be avg. 25 pts + even at his age right now. But the 3 sec. does not allow him to do this.

Instant replay for end of game situations besides what there is now. Georgetown traveled all the way to the winning basket against Vanderbilt. There should of been some type of call there

i would change the intentional foul from two shots once over the foul limit to two shots and possesion...that will discourage teams from fouling so much and help speed the game up...especially in those times when the team is up by 9 points and its only 8 sec. left in the game...come on and get it over with
