Sadly I think you overpaid. My Dad just picked up a laptop
on sale at Staples normally 850 dollars for 700. His specs read as follows.
Acer Laptop
AMD Turion 64X2 processor 1.7 GHz
120 Gigabyte Hard Drive
Windows Vista Premium
1 Gigabyte of RAM
So overall he got a great deal, just needs to add
one Gig of DDR2 RAM and hes set.

It's a very good Laptop though i can get it cheaper but don't worry you got a good laptop you diden't mentone the graphics card witch one you have cuz it make a big deference

If it has a 17" screen and a good video card (at least 256MB of Video Memory), then yes, that is a good price.
