And was it me or was Skeletor not actually that evil. All he wanted to do was get inside a castle which he was being deliberately being excluded from, perhaps because he looked a bit different. It's a bit like an ugly kid not being allowed in a club house. Just because his skin had come off his face. I wonder who else the Eternian monarchy had problems with, perhaps those with Downs Syndrome?

And didn't He Man and Prince Adam look exactly the same... he didn't even bother putting glasses on like Clark Kent. Yet nobody noticed it was the same person.

Some questions need to be asked.

True Skeletor wasn't wickedly evil; he was more petty than evil; and a lot immature. I wouldn't let someone with his hang-ups into a place with housed the secrets of the universe. I don't think it was because of his appearance* as much as it was his overall image; I'm sure if he'd asked nicely or maybe tried to change his image like moving into a better neighborhood, stop hanging around dudes call Beast Man, and Evilyn, and stop carrying around a staff with an almost satanic looking ram's head on it, he probably would've gotten somwhere.

People tend to replace a person's appearance with a personal image of who they think that person is. This is way a simply pair of glasses (or sunglasses) can cause people to seemingly become a totally different person. Also "He-Man" was the most powerful 'man' in the universe; Prince Adam was the 'son' of the King hence perpetually a boy; that distinction coupled with their opposing personality traits . . .you get the point.

It was only green in the TV show , not the original comics.
Skeletor was a wuss on the TV version only.
Originally He-man did not have an alter ego, Prince Adam was created to sell more toys.
