This is my second child. I am in my second trimester - 23.5 weeks along and lately I've been feeling a LOT of discomfort in my tummy. At night my baby boy seems to push so hard it's very uncomfortable!!! I can't see how he could hurt me like that already - I think he only weights about 1.5 lbs! Everything is happening sooner - ligament pain, leg cramps, and I feel my baby moving all day long. I look like I'm 7 or 8 months pregnant, not 6. Is this normal? I know I'm not farther along too because we charted our fertility and I know, almost for certain, the exact day the baby was conceived. I am just a little worried that the pain is going to get much worse as he starts to gain weight. I think if this gets much worse I'll have to start sleeping in a chair!!!! Advice anyone??

This will be my second boy. My first didn't seem to move as much and he was born a healthy 9lbs 1oz. Man is he an active little 4 year old now!!!

I am enjoying this pregnancy more because I know what to expect and I'm just more relaxed. I just feel like I've got a mexican jumping bean in my belly! If his activity is any sign of his personality when he is born - I am in for a wild ride!

The more pregnancies you have the more aches and pains. I'm pregnant with number 3 and I can hardly walk sometimes.

I think u are so excited the first time that u accept all the minor aches and pains without complaining. With the second pregancy u already know what signs to look for and what feelings to expect. Don't anticipate the pain. Live each day -- enjoy the good ones because u know THE BIG ONE is coming soon. LOL!

Get a rock/glider chair and just rock the pain away and put the baby (inside) to sleep!

All pregnancies are different... no two are a like... but... I know with my 2nd I did not have as hard of a time as I did with my 1st. My 2nd was a breeze. I am now with my 3rd... and this one has been more painful. I've got stomach pains all the time from it pushing on the inside, my back hurts... but I am sure everything will be just fine. At all my appointments I register just fine, no complications, no unhealthy diagnoses... so I can only assume everything is perfectly normal. Take a warm bath if your feeling uncomfortable... it usually helps.

Its not a case of second babies, its a case of every baby is different. If your baby is healthy it may grow larger. My second baby was more uncomfortable but he did end up being 11 lbs 8 1/2 oz! A bit rare! Its more to do with the way they lie and move about. Where they have lodged, some places when they grow its more uncomfortable.
Just try and take it easy if you can, its a time to spoil yourself and try not to worry. I know easier said than done! But you must look after yourself.
Loads of luck!

The membrane sweep is mechanically somewhat painful. the 1st-fee attitude to describe that is ought to you have had deep penetration by using a very sturdy endowed guy, the rigidity on the cervix is a similar. each so often women do no longer ***** approximately the membrane sweep in any appreciate, comparing it to a pap smear. Others are somewhat greater comfortable there. although that is over so hastily by utilising the factor you assert "ow that harm!" that's performed. generally in a mutually as after for a pair of hours you are going to have some reasonable contractions (equivalent to those you get after intercourse.) Mine have continuously stopped in a mutually as in spite of the indisputable fact that it does help in minor dilation. in case you fairly desire to get concerns moving take a examine out going for a protracted walk after having it performed, guaranteeing to stroll -by utilising way of- the contractions. sturdy sturdy fortune and don't concern, it is not as risky as you experience. :)

Sleep on your back second pregnancys are just as painful as the first. The baby might be a little bigger because the first one streched out the uterus so the second is pushing around which is causeing you stomach pain

I could not roll over in bed..... OUCH! But the labor was much faster. Yippy! 30hrs with my first 2hrs with my second! :-)

Good Luck and Congrats....

You're fine, you just have a "typical" little boy inside of you. More active, weighs more, kicks harder!!
