hi every one i posted about a week ago about the twinges i was gettin in my stomach alot of you said u had them i have managed to see a dr now and spoke to my midwife for the first time and they did say it was normal just everything strething i was just wondering how long they lasted for

Hi,
Ive had three babies. I have to say that "stretching" will go on to a greater and lesser extent all the way through. It becomes less painful after 4 or 5 months though. The first pregnancy was the worst with everything having to move and shift places! It is uncomfortable, but normal Im afraid! Try and tell yourself isnt it great, Im pregnant!!
Its an uncomfortable business.

I am 18 weeks and still get them every once in a while - not nearly as bad or as often as I got them the first 12 weeks or so. I think of them as growth spurts - the uterus expanding to fit the baby, your belly expanding, the baby growing....

Hello,

I'm 11 weeks and I'm still getting them and did so with the first child so I think you are worrying over nothing - just try to relax and expect these weird feelings to be there - your body is afterall readjusting to a larger uterus, moving organs over to make room etc................
