Why Does She Ignore Americans' Want Of Removing Undocumented Workers?

Is it because Pelosi's upscale winery was is hiring illegal aliens? Her voting record shows she voted against almost all laws that would stop them from coming into the U.S..

That is a serious corruption. She is using her office to promote the use of illegal labor so she can save money.

Pelosi's voting record:

""She led the opposition and voted against the Secure Fence Act of 2006 recently signed into law by President Bush to build a 700-mile fence along the U.S.-Mexican border.

She opposed the Real ID Act of 2005, a valuable anti-terror tool, while bragging that Democrats under her leadership "defeated Republican attempts to restrict the easily forged Matricula Consular card" issued by the Mexican government. ...

"She voted against a bill to make employers such as herself financially liable for hospital costs if undocumented employees seek medical attention, preferring that either taxpayers foot the bill or that hospitals close under the burden, as many are doing throughout the Southwest.

In 2005 she voted against barring the issuance of driver's licenses to illegal aliens and against a requirement that businesses use an electronic system to verify whether new hires have the legal right to work in the U.S.

Nor has Pelosi been a fan of employer sanctions against the hiring of illegal aliens. In 2003, she accused immigration officers of conducting "terrorizing raids" on Wal-Mart stores that led to the arrest of more than 300 illegal aliens"

It is a myth that America needs undocumented workers.

Pelosi should stay out of foreign affairs, she has no power or authority to do what she is doing. Pelosi will toot her horn and vocalize whichever cause SHE IS AGAINST, FORGET THE PEOPLE.

What planet are you from ???? I respect the right you have to voice your opinion, but have you been to California lately ??? Housing costs are so far out of line that if I had to buy a home now, to make it affordable you would need to have 6 of those jobs that you say Americans would take just to keep the utilities on !!! Until we impose firm tariffs on China & Japan, the Government will keep the borders as porous as they are. Yes, illegal immigration is wrong. But as long as you sit in front of your Chinese computer, with your Japanese software. Taking pictures with your imported digital camera and talking on your cell phone, while driving your Imported Japanese vehicle and moan about gas prices, I think you should stop immigrant bashing. These people fill a need created by our own greed of affordabilty. If you want to stop the flow, create a tariff. Use it to " secure " the border from the " dangerous " illegal aliens. Or else do the unimagineable BUY AMERICAN.

Most people never heard of Nancy Pelosi before she became House Speaker. I did. She was using every dirty trick in the book to take over. A year or so before she got elected she assembled all of the Democrats together and made it clear to them that it would be in their best interest to oppose any new policy set forth by Pres. Bush ranging from Iraq to Illegal Imigration, to anything!! Before Bush even proposed an agenda the Democrats would be scrambling to oppose anything set forth by the president. That is our leaders for us underminding the President.

John McCain and Barack Obama introduced immigration reform last year in the Senate, but it was voted down by Republicans, as it gave amnesty to some illegal aliens.

I've said it before, and I will say it again, just because the American people voted the Dems into Congress, doesn't mean they are against the war, they just don't like a one-sided presidency, that isn't the same thing.

I am sick and tired of them claiming that we want out of Iraq, the most recent joke of a statement came from Rosie O'Donnel - until they fire her, I am not supporting ABC, ESPN, or Disney anymore.

it seems like that right now because that's all we hear about. the war is going to be a hot topic until something changes. and i think that the nation is still split on undocumented workers. so mush right now is the distaste for the war and the lies that got us there. people are pissed and pelosi is trying to work those issues out. illegal immigrants will be dealt with at some time

I don't believe that a majority of American's have shown that this is what they want. Removing Undocumented workers would be a slap in the face to our economy...truly it would be.. and that is why it is an issue that will not get anywhere quickly. Granted people should not enter the country illegally, but now that they are here, it would be a shame to hurt our economy and send them home for good when we could at least set up a permit program.

Well, one is a more immediate concern than the other.

If the Immigration issues were such a big deal why wasn't it passed when it was originally suggested, which was under a Republican majority.

I say if the dems want to adhere to poll results, we poll everything. Lets take a poll of how many people like paying for her 747 she takes home on the weekends. How about the Fridays off for football rule. She just wants it too apply when she says so. This is fairly typical of the dems, just ask Senator Feinstien..
