I used to use powder, Tide, but over the past few years, I've switched to liquid. Our laundry room is accessible to our kids and I find the liquid is easier to keep out of reach than the open box of powder. When hey get old enough, I'll switch back. There is just something about Tide in powder form that makes my sheets........mmmm.......smell so refreshing!

I use liquid detergent, because I usually wash with cold water and powder doesn't dissolve so well in cold water.
