I'm 12 weeks today and pregnant with my first.
I show a little bit, but not too much..to where its like is she or isn't she? Type of thing now. I guess it just depends on what shirt I wear.
Yick..bloating..I had a lot of that at 11 weeks too. ^.-
Anyway..it's normal, because every pregnancy is different (i'm sure you're probably tired of hearing that by now. hahaha..but it's true.).
Good luck with yours and congrats <3

I work in a doctors office so I wore scrubs most of my pregnancy. I started showing around 22 weeks, but when I had my scrubs on, it wasn't really noticeable to anyone that didn't know I was pregnant.

Everyone is different. This was my first pregnancy. One of the nurses I work with is due any time now and she was showing at like 12 weeks, but this is her third pregnancy. First pregnancies have a tendency to show later from what I understand, but some of it has to do with your size beforehand and other factors. As for the weight gain, I think I might've gained 4 lbs. the first trimester. It's even common to lose weight (due to morning sickness). I gained 22 lbs. total the entire time and gave birth to a 6 lb 15 oz 20 1/2 inch baby boy 16 days ago. I was all baby apparently...I'm actually a couple of pounds lighter than I was before...unfortunately things don't always go back where they were before. lol

I was about 4 months before I started showing. It's completely normal, but your clothes should start feeling more snug as each day or week passes. I would start to buy a few maternity pants and shorts. But, don't go overboard unless you plan to have lots of kids. Spend that money on the child. Also, invest in some good shoes...your feet are going to start hurting with time passing from weight gain. And some nice sweats.

Congrats!

Congratulations!!!

I'm 18 weeks and for the first 9 weeks i just felt extremely bloated and by 13 weeks I couldn't find anything in my closet to fit me - pre-pregnancy, I was a size 6. I've been in maternity clothes since 13 1/2 weeks and now I get asked if I'm sure there's only one in my belly.

I didn't really gain any weight (and even lost a little) until my 13th week - about 9lbs since before christmas in total.

I started putting on some weight in the first 3 months but nothing too drastic. It looked more like I had just eaten too much or something. It was at about 5 months that I started to show. Since then, I've been growing outward regularly. I'm 7 months now and looking pretty huge.

Hm. Let's see, I was five months along before my stomach started to do a little pouch out...I'm 5'4" - at the time, weighed about 125 lbs. I didn't REALLY show until month 7, but everyone IS DIFFERENT!

You could start the gain/show at 4 months easily or later...

Congratulations! An event that will change your life in a myriad of ways!

I didn't start to show until 5 or 6 months. Even now, people look at me and are surprised when I tell them I'm 8 months - I think they assume I'm 5 or 6 from the size of my belly!

I started showin in my 5th month. But it all depends on your size before pregnancy and how many previous pregnancies. Remember its not just your belly that gets big during pregnancy. Your breasts, arms, legs, thighs, buttocks, etc. all swell at different points and your belly will follow.

If you are very thin -- u will show more prominently. Being a medium build with thick hips, I tend to spread the weight more evenly and proportionately.

I had a little gut before I was even pregnant, but started having the baby pooch when I was about 12-16 weeks.

I have had 3 kids and every time it was different. With my first I never showed. I stayed in my regular clothes pretty much, with my second i started showing around the 5th month and with my last i got huge and was showing by my 4th month. It just varies from pregnancy to pregnancy and every woman shows different. hope this helps.
