Nothing bad, if you wear a tampon. Just put a fresh one in before you swim, and change it when you get out. No biggie.

You have to wear a tampon if you are going swimming. But it does not absorb the pool water enough to cause an effect of any sort. Lots of young girls think that the tampon will absorb too much water and wont be able to come out. This could not be further from the truth.
Wear a tampon, relax and have fun!

You wear a tampon, because it is unsanitary to go swimming with nothing to take care of the menstrual flow (no matter how light, you should wear a tampon).

Make sure you wear a tampon so you're not bleeding in the pool, but otherwise nothing happens.
