I have an ipod nano and Ive uploaded pictures before but I had only done one file, with about 15 photos. Today I went to upload a new file, with about 10 photos, and instead of just adding the 10 to my previous number it erased the 15 and now I only have the 10 from today. How do I keep it from replacing my existing photos? I looked at preferences and all that but cant figure out how to do it. All I'm doing to upload is making a folder and copying pics I want into it and then I 'check' the box for 'Sync photos from:' then I pick my file. But I am never able to 'check' the box for 'selected folders' and I dont know if maybe thats where you do it. I dont know...Im super frustrated so any help would be greatly appreciated!

iPods are only capable of syncing one main folder for photos, though they can also sync sub-folders that are located within that folder if you want them to. To keep all the photos you want uploaded and nothing else, the best thing you can do is create an iPod folder in your My Pictures folder, fill it with _COPIES_ of any photos you want to upload, and sync that as your primary folder. Then, when you want to remove photos, just delete them from this folder (hence the reason why you'll only want to place duplicates in it, not your only copies).
