a Ne atom has 10 protons in its nucleus & 10 neutrons in the nucleus. What is the mass in a.m.u.?

Ne exist as an isotopic mix of Ne20(90.48%), Ne21(0.27%), and Ne22(9.25%).

I suppose you could separate out Ne20 from natural Ne, in which can you would have exact mass of 20, other wise your mass would be slightly different 20.1797

The AMU would be 20 in this case. The AW of Ne, taking all of its isotopes, is 20.179
