I usually sign all gifts Aunt J, but technically I am not his aunt anymore, but my son still sees him when my ex takes him to visit. Please advise.

If he's too young to really grasp the concept of divorce, go with Aunt J.

That's how you sign that gift, kids don't need to be caught up in the BS.
I've been divorced since 1993 and I'm still called uncle Donnie. And my step-daughter, who's pregnant was with my niece and said well I guess that means your still my dad, so your going to be a grandpa. Bet that chaps the ex's @SS.

They know I love them no matter what. oh yeah did I mention these girls are now women in the mid twenties?

So send it, go on what are you waiting for? an invitation? and you be sure to put AUNT J

Hope this helps

If you have been around your ex-nephew for a long time and he conciders you his aunt, then sign it Aunt J. Just because you are no longer with your ex, doesnt mean that your nephew wants nothing to do with you or sees you differently :)

If you had a relationship/bond with your nephew beyond your husband, sign Aunt J, he needs to know that just because his Uncle isn't married to you, doesn't mean he can't call you Aunt J or see you, have a relationship with you. This is especially ok if things are somewhat copasetic between you and your ex.

OK well i think you should sign aunt j because you still see him as your nephew and it would be weird to him maybe to see just from j because he saw you as his aunt and that's the way i would keep it know matter if your not married to his uncle n-e more or not he is still your nephew in your eyes so keep it that way.

I would still sign it Aunt J. I see no point in changing your relationship with "your" nephew and I don't think kids should be involved with divorce if possible.

Sign it as Aunt. You have been his aunt for all his life. Divorce don't change who you love!
