I have a '92 Crown Vic and follow the recalls and TSBs closely, but don't remember any particular power steering related ones. I remember my '88 and '91 Taurus had noisy pumps that made a whining noise and I replaced one of them. You could check http://www.mycarstats.com for your particular car's recalls and TSBs once you sign up for free on the website. I've never had any power steering problems on my Crown Vic.

Nope, no recall on power steering units on those cars.
