I was watching his speech yesterday about the American people blaming Congress for him vetoing a bill that would fund the troops and set a timetable for getting out of Iraq. WTF? Is he that out of touch with reality? The majority of Americans favor a timetable for getting out of Iraq. If you don't believe me, go here: pollingreport.com....every one of the polls there favors Congress.

You don't get it. It cuts both ways. The Congress is responsible for the war because they authorized it, and they're responsible for losing the war because they want to defund it.

Not to worry, Bush isn't losing it, he's just being his old self. "Even if he loses, his friends say, he doesn't lose. He'll just change the score, or change the rules, or make his opponent play until he can beat him."

I do not know what speech you were watching but in the one I saw Bush's point was that congress was just wasting time by loading a bill which was meant to support our troops, with pork. If congress wants to end the war they need to cut the funding not set up timetables and requirements to keep the troops there.
