Most miscarriages that early on go undiagnosed because they typically have no symptoms other than a late period. It usually isn't any heavier or longer than usual. You may have a bit more cramping but again, may just attribute it to a late period. The only way to know for sure is to have a positive pregnancy test.

I've had 4 early miscarriages and they were all like normal periods with a little extra tissue/clots. I never had cramping or extra bleeding. Just a normal period.
I'm so sorry if you think your having a miscarriage.

There would be some bleeding, but not necessarily any pain that early. I have two friends that miscarried really early like that years ago. Neither had pain. One got up from the bed when she woke up and blood gushed all over the floor, the other bled a little slower over time before anything significant came out.
If you think you have reason to worry, call your doctor.

You will definitely have bleeding and probably bad cramping. Your body is expelling the pregnancy. But many women don't realize that they've had a miscarriage when it's that early in the pregnancy. They think it's just a bad period.

Yes, it will feel heavier than a regular period, and cramping would be stronger. If you think it is happening make an app with you GYN to get check out. You always want to see a doctor when having a miscarriage.

The day you miss your period you are considered 4 weeks pregnant. When you ovulate it's already considered 2 weeks pregnant. You most likely wouldn't even notice miscarrying that early. At about 7 weeks the baby is still less than a cm long.

At 3 weeks, the baby isn't even moving yet - so what's the problem....................
I lost my 2nd pregnancy, at 6 months. The baby was born, I heard her cry but I never saw her and I'm glad I didn't ( her lungs had not developed with her body and she would have ended up with tons of medical issues) . Yes, I felt bad but I had a really great neighbor who told me this; "this was God's way of telling you he knew you would never be able to handle a 'defective' child - so that's why she's with him now". After she told me that - I never felt bad about it ever again.
So, three weeks is nothing compared to 6 months...........
Oh, I had 2 more after this tragedy and they are perfectly fine.

I miscarried at about 2 weeks before. I felt terrible pain, way worse then just a regular period. It felt like I was constipated (x100!), and that everything inside of my body was comming out of that end! It was aweful! I also bled very heavily for about a week.
